Lorena Guillen Vaschetti

pic Lorena Guillen Vaschetti Lorena Guillen Vaschetti was born in Rosario, Argentina in 1974.

She grew up in Buenos Aires surrounded by the Italian community in Argentina. Her mother Norma, a talented classical dancer and painter, introduced her to the world of art by taking her to museums and galleries throughout Europe since she three month old.

Lorena attended photography schools since she was fourteen in Argentina, the United States and Italy. She studied Architecture and Anthropology and she taught courses in art and culture at the University, including: Architectural History and Habitat Theory. After finishing her architectural degree she committed to her passion: photography.

Her first solo exhibition was in New York in August 2002. Since then, Lorena’s work has been shown in museums and galleries in the United States, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Brazil and Argentina. Her images are part of museum and private collections in Europe and throughout America.
