Vivid color, subtle shadings of grey.Boldness and mystery. This series of work, a collaboration of three prominent photographers, examines the contrasts in contemporary Korean photography. Delicacy and minimalism is present in the works of Sang-Nam Park, who was raised in a traditional Korean house, with bright sunshine penetrating the shoji-like doors and windows. Her series is entitled “Plants, Seen Through Light” and is remarkable in its simplicity.Works by Han Sungpil and Choi Byung Kwan, offer equally distinctive impressions.
